F1 Racing's Monaco Grand Prix on May 28

The streets of Monte Carlo, home of the Monaco Grand Pix, NEVER liked Michael Schumacher.

And Michael Schumacher is getting frustrated every year Monte Carlo denies him a podium spot. Yet, Schumi is STILL trying to court Monaco for a variety of reasons.

ONE, he would like to finally get a win after five failed attempts the past five years.

TWO, a sixth loss will bring him down to the mediocrity that plagued the late Ayrton Senna.

And finally, Schumi, whether he admits it or not, is on his last years in F1 racing and with a Spaniard looking to establish himself as the new king of F1, Schumacher would be more than happy to become F1 champion for perhaps the very last time.

‘’We have made a lot of improvement in the car in recent races,'’ Michael Schumacher said.

He adds, ‘’I am confident that we will be very strong this weekend. The car is good, and so are the tires. We will be competitive.'’

Or so he thinks.

Fernando Alonso is the Spaniard I was talking about earlier, looking to establish himself as the new king of Formula One. He is already the defending F1 champion and being able to defend that title this season will surely establish his mark as one of F1’s best.
