Will Valentino Rossi go F1?
Valentino Rossi shifting from the Moto GP ring to the Formula One arena?
It's possible that we can see Michael Schumacher and the young Italian, Valentino Rossi, racing alongside each other in 2007.
He's Italian and it's only fitting that he drive the red scarlet Italian machine.
That's what the motoring world is fuzzing about as of the moment. Valentino Rossi, the most decorated Moto GP champion for five years straight may be shifting from his Yamaha handle bars to a Ferrari steering wheel.
Michael Schumacher doesn't think so though.
The Rossi rumors continue to be hot news in motor racing as Formula One prepares to open up a brand new season.
However, the former World Champion is not convinced that the Italian will switch from two wheels to four.
''To be honest, I would say that it is pretty unlikely,'' the German driver from Ferrari said.
Schumacher also confirmed his possible retirement, stating that he will continue to pilot the red scarlet considering if he feels he can still challenge for the World Championship.
''It has not reached the stage where I think 'hey I am not as good as these youngsters,'' Schumi said.
He also said that his possible retirement has nothing to do with the rumors of Valentino Rossi possibly racing for Ferrari in 2007.
Many established F1 drivers believe that Valentino WILL NOT go to F1. Red Bull driver David Coulthard said before that if Valentino trades his two wheels for four, the Italian won't be as successful with the steering wheel as he is now with his handle bars.
